Top Ten Tuesday is a book feature/meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Thanks for stopping by for another Top Ten Tuesday! This week’s topic is “Books on My Fall 2023 To-Read List”. As a mood reader, this is going to be a very tentative list, but I made a shelf for my spooky season.
Let’s get into it!
* Click the covers to be taken to the book’s Goodreads page.
- The Ballad of Black Tom by Victor LaValle
- Episode Thirteen by Craig DiLouie
- From Below by Darcy Coates
- A Haunting on the Hill by Elizabeth Hand
- The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher
- How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix
- Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
- My Heart is a Chainsaw (The Indian Lake Trilogy #1) by Stephen Graham Jones
- Parasite (Cymic Parasite Breach #1-5) by Darcy Coates
- The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher
Have you read any of these? What’s on your spooky season TBR? Lemme know!
How to Sell a Haunted House looks super spooky!

I hope so too. I’m scared they won’t live up to how much I’m loving The Murderbot Diaries right now though. Happy TTT!

Looks like a great mix of spooky reads for the season! I’ve yet to read a Grady Henrix book, despite owning several. Someday! Happy Reading!
